Junior year chemistry lead me into the first few basic steps of basic chemistry. With a bright eyed teacher, my class and I learned all the necessities together, with just enough curious wondering.
In chemistry, we participated in multiple labs, from bending glass, to more practical things, such as working on measuring things accurately.
In Mr. Pate's chemistry class, the lessons were taught in a lecture type scenario, leaving the responsibility of learning to the student. If you wanted to learn, you did, and this benefited me in the way that I did want to learn.
